// whoami

Sysadmin, infrastructure generalist, and recovering ticket-closer.

I'm an IT engineer based in Seattle with hands-on experience running the full stack of modern small/mid-business infrastructure — from Microsoft 365 and Entra ID tenants to switch closets, wireless deployments, and security incident response.

Currently providing L2/L3 support for 70+ MSP clients at Teal Group Technologies, where I close 50–60 tickets a week, run on-site network deployments, and lead malware triage and account compromise response. Before that, I deployed 500+ Dell PowerEdge servers as a datacenter technician on a Microsoft contract.

I like the work that lives at the intersection of cloud identity, endpoint management, and the physical network — the layer where Intune policies meet VLAN tags meet the user who still can't print. Comfortable on a ladder pulling cable, and comfortable in PowerShell writing the script that means I don't have to do it again next week.

Systems Administrator / Network & Infrastructure (L2/L3)@Teal Group Technologies
Feb 2025 – Present ● active
  • Provide L2/L3 support across 70+ MSP clients — 50-60 tickets/week through Autotask and ServiceNow, average resolution 15–30 min via Datto RMM and GoToAssist.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments: identity, conditional access, licensing, mailbox and tenant operations.
  • Build and manage Microsoft Intune policy — compliance and configuration profiles, app deployment policies, and Windows update rings to standardize and harden client fleets.
  • Stand up Cloudflare Zero Trust (ZTNA) for client remote access, and run cloud printing through PrinterLogic / Vasion Print.
  • Primary on-site network tech: Cisco / Ubiquiti / Netgear switch and VLAN configuration, AP deployment, firewall config, and site-to-site VPN tunnels between client locations.
  • Run structured and low-voltage cabling — patch panel and keystone termination — plus security / AV installs (NVR, cameras) with conduit and raceway.
  • Lead security incident response using Huntress — isolate compromised endpoints, disable accounts, audit Entra sign-in logs, review Outlook rules and OAuth consent grants, coordinate user comms during triage.
  • Own backup verification across Veeam and Datto — weekly job review, failure triage, and test restores to keep DR posture honest.
  • Scope and execute network expansions end-to-end — switches, APs, firewalls, and the cabling to tie it together.
  • Write the docs nobody else wants to write: client-specific runbooks and common-issue KB articles, cutting team-wide resolution time.
Datacenter Technician@Microsoft (Contract)
Jun 2024 – Jan 2025
  • Deployed 500+ Dell PowerEdge servers and a 500-device specialized test infrastructure: rack, cable, BIOS/OS provisioning, and integration into Microsoft production environments.
  • Acted as technical liaison between deployment crews and project managers — real-time status, blocker triage, and workflow optimization to accelerate timelines.
  • Authored and refined deployment procedures and documentation to standardize operations across multiple datacenter facilities.
